Description: The software package Concepts NREC / Agile Engineering Design System (developed by Concepts ETI, Inc.) provides a single continuous design cycle for turbomachines (compressors, pumps, fans, turbines, turbochargers, expansion machines, etc.), covering all design stages from one-dimensional, design calculation before the manufacturing process and experimental research of the prototype, also solves complex optimization problems.
The Concepts NREC software package includes solvers based on empirical dependencies using the concept of one or two zone models, calculations based on one or three streamlets, a solver based on the analysis of the curvature of streamflows, etc., solving the Euler equations with embedded corrections for losses, solutions of a two-dimensional problem (two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations in the interscapular space along the height of the flow path), as well as solutions of the 3D CFD viscous problem and 3D FEA modeling, etc.
