CAE component – the Simulation application is designed to carry out calculations for strength, shock and vibration resistance, acoustic effects, durability, exposure to thermal conditions, optimization of structures, etc.
The CAE part of the I-DEAS NX system includes the following components:
• I-Deas NX MasterFEM (modules of the Simulation application with their own solver);
• I-Deas NX with NX Nastran solver – full-featured package for preparation, execution and presentation of calculation results.
