Alternatively, frame geometry can be imported from AutoCAD via DXF, simple text files or from MS Excel where users can create complex formula. E.g spirals and non-circular curves.Frame members can be grouped together for automatic BS5950-1:2000 steelwork design.
The software detects the worst case and all members are allocated the same steel section automatically. Printed results can be produced in a summary or detailed format or linked to MS Word for inclusion in a larger report. CADS Analyse3D results can be linked to CADS RC Design software for beams, columns, slabs, bases, pilecaps, etc.
