Description: PolyWorks Metrology Suite 2024 IR3.2 – multifunctional software manufactured by InnovMetricSoftware Inc., used for processing laser scanning data: reverse engineering, control of product geometric parameters, architecture tasks, monitoring deformation of the earth’s surface and many others. PolyWorks software complex allows you to work efficiently and quickly with very large amounts of data. PolyWorks consists of several modules and has a wide range of tools that simplify and speed up working with data. It is important to note that the complex allows you to work with data obtained from three-dimensional scanners of all known brands.
IMAlign
• This module is designed for primary data processing.
• Initially, the data obtained using a ground-based three-dimensional scanner or data already processed in other programs is imported. Already at this stage, there are some processing options: the data is imported with a given accuracy (a step of the points samped is set); the data can be filtered at a distance.
• Primary treatment of points clouds is made: scaling of points clouds; filtration for matching points, that is, ordering (points spreading at distances less than the time being, are removed). In the module, the external coordinate system and the chanting is tied up.

• This module implements the functions of creating and editing NURBS surfaces – surfaces that are created by curves, and in the module there are many ways to create these curves: manually – certain curves are carried out at the specified points, curves are built by intersections with the model of planes, in section, the grid of curves is automatically computed according to the model with a given accuracy (step and the maximum).
