Some of the functionality in Affinity Publisher still seems a bit rudimentary when viewed through the lens of InDesign, but that’s considering how far InDesign has come in decades. Affinity Publisher isn’t perfect yet, but Serif, like Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo, will continue to add functionality in future updates.
For enthusiasts, amateur users, and professional users, Affinity Publisher is a great alternative. Affinity Publisher can also be used well as a prototyping tool for website and app design, but the program offers other interesting functions. This gives UX designers a good alternative to Adobe XD.
