* CAMWorks module allows you to create milling, lathe, lane-frs-interpret and wire erosion processing programs. The following types of machines are supported: Mill with simultaneous control of two ? five axes;
* Lathes of single- and double-spindle, with one or two calipers, with software-controlled auxiliary mechanisms (backs of grandmothers, lunets, parts catchers…) ;
* Lathe milling single- and double-spindle, with one or two calipers, with software-controlled auxiliary mechanisms, with simultaneous control of two ? five axes;
* Erosion two- and four-axis.
The processing is conducted directly in the Solid Edge environment and directly according to the Solid Edge model. The results of the programmer’s work are stored in the same model of the Solid Edge part or assembly. Thus, the full associativeness of the model and trajectories of the tool is ensured, which leads to an automatic update of all trajectories of the tool when making changes to the model. When adding any technological data to the Solid Edge model, such as roughness designations, bases, shape tolerances and surface locations, tolerances to sizes, software technology always has direct access to them, which facilitates the choice of a location scheme on the machine and select the tools necessary to ensure a given quality of the tool and cutting modes. The part can be easily adapted to the needs of processing by example, the exclusion of excess geometry elements in terms of processing or by recalculating the actuators of the model into the middle of the tolerance field. In the mode of working with the assembly Solid Edge, you can perform joint processing of several parts, program the processing of a series of parts, or simply completely simulate the entire real environment on the table of the machine – all the equipment, the preparation of any complexity and so on – for the most complete consideration of the realities of processing already at the earliest stages of the program creation.
